Thanks much for responding with the English rules pdf so quickly. Looking forward to playing the game.

I donated and downloaded all 5 files. 16Bit Quest-Rules.pdf does not contain rules. It contains 6 pages of cards fronts and backs. Do you have the rules in English and can you make them available please?

Thanks again. Appreciate the prompt responses and explanations. Always a pleasure.

Thanks for pointing that out. That's a plus. I did just compare the location of items & monsters & strength of the monsters. I only glanced at the mazes.

Sorry,me again. I a bit uncertain about my starting starting attack strength. Is it 5 represented by the 5 empty squares in the same manner that my starting health is 5? Or is it zero and I add attack strength by marking an empty square each time i acquire a weapon?

BTW: Just like to mention I have enjoyed QOC and just downloaded, printed and played MOP. Posted a photo of MOP in Martin's Print and Play FB Group. 20+ likes in a day. John

I downloaded the demo version. You say it includes 5 maps. It appears to me that it contains the same map 5 times. I must be missing something. Please help me see what's different among the 5 demo maps. I'd like to get a sense of this before considering 365 maps. Thanks. John

Awesome! Thanks for the prompt reply.

Can this game be played solo? If so, would I be playing 1 monster or playing the party of 3 monsters? I already donated, downloaded and printed the game. Just wondering if I am going to be 1 person or pretend to be multiple persons. Thanks.

I watched the YouTube video (very good) and may have missed this. At the end of a turn, the values of the Timer and Control dice are changed (plus or minus) based on the gear you are in. When you cross the Finish Line the "game ends". Do you calculate your score based on the present values of the Timer and Control dice or do you change the values based on the gear you are in as you would at the end of a turn and then calculate your score

Thanks. From watching the existing videos I think there is a lot I could understand better from a playthru. Not a comment on your rules. Just seeing the action and hearing someone talk through what they are deciding helps me.

Any plans for a playthru video on YouTube in English or with English subtitles?

What space inside the vessel do I start on? I have the same question for Just a Dungeon and Night at the Museum but didn't comment there. I know I must be missing the obvious because everyone else knows. Do I just start anywhere? Thanks. John

In case some else mentions it, the rules also specifically state that a Failed Quest is discarded "back to the box".  I still like your conclusion that abandoned quests are essentially neutral outcomes and not factored into the Star Grade.

I like that conclusion. Abandoned is a neutral outcome. And now it occurs to me that if you counted them in to the Star Grade, it would be very difficult for my final score to meet or exceed it if I had any abandoned Quests.  Thanks for circling back on this.

Many thanks for responding to my question and the other question I posted. John

The base Rules (v2.0.0) say you may discard a Luck cube to reroll any number of dice once. I read this to mean that when you discard a Luck cube you get one reroll only. However, I could also read this to mean that you may discard Luck cube only once during a quest. During a single quest, may I discard a Luck cube, reroll and if I don't like the result, discard another Luck Cube and reroll again?

The Base Rules v2.0.0 Final Grading describes the Star Grade as "The total number of stars for all Quests (all failed and successful)." (Emphpasis Added). I suspect "all Quests" includes abandoned Quests as well as failed and successful Quests even though it's omitted in the parenthetical description of all Quests. Would this be correct? Sorry to ask the obvious but "failed" and "successful" Quests do have a specific definitions different from an "abandoned" Quest. Thanks
